How Should Organizations Approach Social Media?

How Should Organizations Approach Social Media?

The video was fun to watch and see what was said and how it is in today's world. Social media has evolved so much in such a short time so 11 years ago social media was a whole new different planet.

I do believe even if it is 11 years old it had some good points like how organizations should be telling a story rather than statistics. I think that is valid in the current state of social media usage in organizations. Organizations should be somehow relatable to the viewers, so they get contact with customers. If the organization seems friendlier it's a lot more approachable. I do believe there is a lot more to take notice of in today's day and age that might not have been that present 11 years ago. I think those were thought over before but currently they are a lot more important and something to really take notice of. I think every organization should have people to teach their employees on how to use social media safely if it's part of the workplace. Still, I think these types of videos bring back a lot of memories as well as point of view. It is incredible to see how far we have come and how far we still can go. Who knows, maybe someday someone will be watching a video about today's social media usage and thinking how much everything has changed.
